September 27th, 1722: American revolutionary leader Samuel Adams was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He was a passionate, vocal man who helped ignite the revolution and served as a delegate to the First and Second Continental Congresses. He also signed the Declaration of Independence and the Articles of Confederation. Adams was American statesman, political philosopher, and one of the Founding Fathers of the United States.
